Great British Tennis Weekends

Play tennis for Free at Barnton Park LTC

 On 17 May 2014

2013 was a landmark year for British Tennis – with Andy Murray becoming Wimbledon Champion. This summer is set to be even bigger with a nation of watchers set to become a nation of players thanks to a series of free and fun events for families set to hit the UK. The Great British Tennis Weekend will see over 1,000 venues across Britain open their doors for a series of four weekends – inspiring over 50,000 men, women and children to pick up a racket and hit the court – for free!

Anyone who comes to Barnton Park will be able to get involved in a number of activities all completely free. Rackets and tennis balls will be provided so anyone and everyone can get involved whether they’ve never tried tennis before, want to get back into the game or are a regular player.

Advanced booking is recommended, click here  to SIGN UP NOW!  But feel free just to come along on the day!

Barnton Park Club President Jacqui Duncan said ‘we are really excited to be running an open day as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend. It’s a great chance for all the family to try tennis at Barnton Park and find out what a great sport it is. Everyone is welcome to come along and simply give it a go’.
